STONEHENGE IN RED

This paintings is 3 1/2 feet by 5 feet.

"Stonehenge in Red"... it was done on a trip to the UK with my one of my daughters. When we visited the stone circle I began talking to the other visitors, and each one had a different reason for visiting the circles, and belief about the stone cirlces. I created a series of paintings of stonehenge based on those different theories. Primary Colors and Secondary Colors were used to try to express the "base" beliefs about the stones.

The red represented the "pagan blood letting worshipping" theories.
